Recycling anyone?

    Categories: Points of View

Does anyone remember the early days of recycling? Voluntary, collect cans and bottles and sell them at the Recycling Center? Collect enough cans and not bad money for a kid, a hobo, or a family needing extra cash.
Now, we have recycling today. In most cities, it’s quasi-mandatory; in some mandatory.
Were does the money go? Have you ever seen a credit on your utility bill?

    The myth of carbon footprint

    Categories: Points of View

All of these settings perpetuate the myth of an actual carbon footprint. It’s like trans-women. It doesn’t exist, but it makes you uncomfortable. The concept of Climate Change uses faux statistics and cornball science to prove how bad humans are and how close we are to self-destruction. Once again, there is no carbon footprint. https://britannica.com/science/carbon-footprint

    Clean hands, or clean cart?

    Categories: Points of View

How many use towel wipes when entering the supermarket? The purpose is to clean your hands and the cart handle so as not to be contaminated by previous shoppers, right? Fast-forward 20 minutes or an hour if you’re a senior. You have touch produce, cans, bottles, and meats in questionable wrappers and place them all in your shopping cart. What good did the entry wipe-down help you? You need a shower upon exiting the store but settle for an exit wipe-down.

    We’ve lost our compassion again….

There was a time before 9/11 when the country had a similar obsession with celebrities. They dominated the news, testified before Congress, control American thought. They had much to do with single women having babies out of wedlock—a consistent low in American morals.

9/11 changed that. We became a better country for a while. We were more considerate and less star-struck. Unfortunately, we are back to where we were before.

What is the purpose of mortal life in Christianity?

    Categories: Points of View

The path to salvation is believing in Jesus and accepting him as your savior. A newborn baby can’t do that. One must reach the age of accountability to accept Jesus as your savior. This takes experience, knowledge, love, and, unfortunately, loss. There is an expectation in the bible that those who make this journey and accept Jesus will spread the word and save others. But it’s not so much a test but an affirmation.

We need a seachange and fast

My problem with Trump is that same as in 2020. Even being in election fraud, I still expected him to become the elder statement of the party moving forward. But instead, he kept the same combative personality, the same name calling, the same alienating of the middle voter that cost the 2020 election. MAGA, as a brand, has become toxic. It even feels divisive to me.

He is still a force for fixing the country, a lion, an indomitable figure, but he still doesn’t have the middle voter. Instead of unifying the party in the past 3 years, grooming a successor, replacing the RNC leadership, we are where we are today.

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive.

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. They may be more likely to go to Heaven yet at the same time likelier to make a Hell of earth. This very kindness stings with intolerable insult. To be “cured” against one’s will and cured of states which we may not regard as disease is to be put on a level of those who have not yet reached the age of reason or those who never will; to be classed with infants, imbeciles, and domestic animals.”

    Current decency, a slow death

    Categories: Points of View

There’s a perversion in American right now that some people want to ignore. It’s like it’s not happening and they don’t have a stake in it. Sexual deviates and perverts are taking over the conversation, women’s sports and making a mockery common decency. They are grooming little children for pedophiles, exposing them to explicit sexual content at an early age, performing gender confusion and change in secret.

If you think it’s ok, take a look at your young family members and think of the impact this will have on them. Do you want you little nephew to be your niece? Or just don’t care? If so, you’re the problem. It’s going to take a majority of Americans to vote this stench out of elected positions.

Wokeism Is a Cruel and Dangerous Cult

    Categories: Points of View

Wokeism’s natural logic is to destroy the lives of people of both genders, of all races, and—if need be—of those of every age, all to leverage an otherwise unworkable ideological agenda.

Wokeism has been described by its critics as the omnipresent use of race—and to a lesser extent, gender—to replace meritocracy and thus ensure equality of result. What follows from implementing that ideology are reparatory actions to reward those of the present by atoning for the injustices done to others in the past.

Some see it as an update of 1960s cultural Marxism fads. Others scoff that it is just a return to 1980s-style political correctness.

Still more see it as the logical successor to 1990s-type race, class, and gender obsessions—albeit with a shriller and more dangerous Jacobin, Soviet, and Maoist twist. Wokeism’s hysteria also invites comparisons to the Salem witch trials and McCarthyism.

But few have described wokeism as the cruel creed that it is.

Wokeism’s natural logic is to destroy the lives of people of both genders, of all races, and—if need be—those of every age, all to leverage an otherwise unworkable ideological agenda. It is nihilist and destroys everything it touches. It tears apart foes and friends alike, whether by fueling media-driven hatred of Donald Trump or faux-deification of the disaster that is now Joe Biden.
